Over the past 30 years, the artists have worked and pursued their passion for art in seven countries. They now live in the United States.
Anita Gilbert received her Master of Fine Arts in painting from the Univ. of Iowa. She has exhibited her paintings and ceramics in numerous exhibitions, galleries and museums in multple countries. Her passion for making art is reflected in her openness to new media as a source for inspiration that constantly challenges her to find new ways to express her artistic vision.
Anthony Vodraska graduated from the Univ. of Iowa and pursued a career in the U.S. Foreign Service. He nurtured a passion for photography, painting, drawing and ceramics during his career. His art work has won national awards in Botswana and has been exhibited in multiple group exhibitions overseas and in the U.S. He works in acrylics, graphite, oils, digital media and clay. His work is guided by intuition and draws inspiration from Baha'i and other spiritual writings. His works uses objects, symbols and asemic writing to explore spiritual metaphors and the animating power of the Creative Word.
